I am not fussy about my brushes, which is why I often buy the lowest priced sets. These are the first that I've bought where you can’t miss how cheap the product is. The ferrules are very loosely crimped in place to hold the handle and bristles together. The bristles are the very scratchy. These aren't densely packed brushes, they're pretty loose goosey with the windshield wiper blending motion with eye makeup, so it has to be the fibers that my skin has issue with. I like how the brushes applied my makeup, but the application process was not comfortable. I very much like the kinds of brushes in this set so I will have an idea of something to look for from brands that I know produce better quality products. I don't regret buying these. For the price, for me, they were worth trying and I will use them until they fall apart which I image won't take too long. I would not personally recommend them, though, unless you're really just looking for low priced versions of these particular styles of brush to work with.they're really pokey, like they feel itchy. one of the brushes completely fell apart first time i used them, the paint on most of them peeled off first time i used them. they're decent enough for my use, which is for doing doll faces, but i wouldn't recommend for doing your own makeup
