Was blown away how much makeup comes off with only water. They don't absorb water easily so they take some time to get wet but work great. I first use only water and go over my face and then will use a gentle cleanser to get off anything left behind. It can get off some of my mascara but not all unless I really rub which I don't want to do. Love seeing the makeup left behind on the cloth. The cloths are extremely soft and don't irritate my semi sensitive skin at all. They wash well. Must wash first as they do shed at first.
